Prepare to embark on your journey with the ‘So It Begins’ quest in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Objective: Find and meet with Markos in the town of Sami.

Step 1: Starting the Quest

The quest “So It Begins” is given to you at the beginning of the game.
Follow the quest marker to the town of Sami on the island of Kephallonia.

Step 2: Meeting Markos

Once you reach Sami, follow the quest marker to find Markos near the shipwreck.
Speak to Markos to progress the quest.

Step 3: Gathering Information

Markos will give you some information about your targets, the Cyclops and his thugs.
Listen to Markos and learn about your objectives.

Step 4: Investigating the Vineyard

Your first objective is to investigate the Cyclops’s vineyard.
Follow the quest marker to the vineyard and look for clues.

Step 5: Dealing with the Bandits

You’ll encounter some bandits at the vineyard. You can choose to fight or use stealth to eliminate them.
Once the bandits are dealt with, continue searching for clues.

Step 6: Collecting the Debts

After investigating the vineyard, Markos will instruct you to collect the debts from the Cyclops’s thugs.
Follow the quest markers to the locations of the thugs and confront them.

Step 7: Confronting the Cyclops

After collecting the debts, return to Markos in Sami.
Markos will give you information about the Cyclops’s whereabouts.
This information will lead you to your next quest, “Barnabas Abroad.”

Step 8: Quest Rewards

Completing “So It Begins” will reward you with experience points and drachmae.
You will also unlock new quests and opportunities as you progress through the game.
