The Prodigal Prince

Embark on a pivotal quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as you step into the boots of Eivor in The Prodigal Prince. This guide will help you navigate through the mission, detailing the necessary steps to complete it successfully.

Step 1: Arriving at the Docks

• Upon reaching the docks, you’ll be greeted with a cutscene featuring the arrival of your brother Sigurd.
• Once you are back in control of Eivor, follow Sigurd as he leads you to see Styrbjorn, which will trigger another cinematic sequence.
• After this, you will find yourself at a celebratory feast where you are free to mingle and interact with the various characters.

Step 2: Receiving the Hidden Blade

• During your interactions at the party, make your way to the main entrance and engage in conversation with Sigurd.
• At this point, you are introduced to Basim, who generously provides you with your first hidden blade—a signature weapon of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
• Congratulations, you are now equipped to play the game as a true assassin.

Step 3: Hidden Blade Training

• Once equipped with the hidden blade, step outside to begin your training.
• Your first task is to practice assassination techniques on straw dummies.
• You’ll start with a simple assassination, then a stealth attack, followed by a climb-and-assassinate maneuver from a nearby ledge.
• Next, you must perform a higher ledge drop assassination, and finally, you will hide in a haystack to stealthily eliminate a straw dummy situated in front of it.

Step 4: Returning to Sigurd and Completing the Quest

• After completing your training, head back to find Sigurd and accompany him to the docks once again.
• A brief cutscene will play, and with its conclusion, the quest The Prodigal Prince will be marked as complete.
