The Street Kid

In Cyberpunk 2077, the prologue mission for the Street Kid life path begins with V, the protagonist, setting their broken nose in a mirror. Pepe, the bartender, asks about what happened and reveals a serious problem—he owes money to Kirk and needs V to take care of it. This guide will walk you through the steps of completing the Street Kid prologue mission.

Step 1: Find Kirk on the Second Floor

• Once you’re ready, head upstairs and you’ll find Kirk seated alone at a booth. Take the time to explore the first floor of the bar if you like, where you can find consumables. When you’re ready, approach Kirk and start the conversation.

Step 2: Strike a Deal with Kirk

• During the conversation with Kirk, you’ll be tasked with stealing a car to clear Pepe’s debt. Negotiate with Kirk and discuss the details of the job.

Step 3: Leave the Bar

• After the deal is made, exit the bar and find yourself in the back alley. Follow the map marker to the basketball hoop and the car you’ll be taking for the job.

Step 4: Talk to Padre and Get in Padre’s Car

• Approach Padre and engage in conversation. Once done, get in the car with Padre. Take note of the conversation during the ride and pick up Padre’s card before continuing.

Step 5: Take the Elevator to the Garage

• Exit the car and drop down onto a dumpster. Follow the marker towards the elevator, down the alley, and to the right. Select -01: Parking in the elevator, and Kirk Sawyer will call you while you’re there.

Step 6: Find the Rayfield

• Once you’re in the garage, make your way towards the back and look for the Rayfield, which is parked in the VIP spot. Follow the map marker to locate it.

Step 7: Disable the Lock Using Kirk’s Device

• Approach the Rayfield and interact with it. Use Kirk’s device to disable the lock and gain access to the car.

Step 8: Talk to the Thief

• Unexpectedly, you’ll find yourself being carjacked. However, the situation is quickly interrupted by the arrival of the police. After the encounter, have lunch with Jackie, marking the beginning of a strong friendship.
